Clive Barker Interview, Film Threat Magazine, 1989
Direct from the basement of my parents' house comes this delightful artifact of yesteryear: one issue of Film Threat, the underground's underground movie magazine. If you were of a certain impressionable age and temperament in those closing years of the 20th century, you may recall it. Visiting my folks this past summer I lucked into in a box labeled "Taxes" (but of course) which contained other ephemera of those days, and this one was most relevant to Too Much Horror Fiction. Indeed, I'd consider it a kind of totem for me, as I reread this interview with the one and only Clive Barker. So many of my ideas of horror and culture and religion and film and literature and what not come from this, I knew I had to share it. And what better day than this, Halloween!
