-Cujo is a bear?
-No. Is a St. Bernard with steroids.

Cujo is my favorite King novel.

Love King... Never read Cujo. It's 7.99 for Kindle, worth the buy?

I'd buy it as a cheap used paperback first, spend maybe a dollar. But eight bucks? No way!

I have all these books, and would put HELL HOUND (Baxter) and CUJO on top.

I have a soft spot for David Anne's RABID, too. His THE FOLLY is a neat little thriller also.

The DOG KILL cover is great. Is it suggesting the dog is going for the groin with his teeth -- or tongue? The mind boggles.

I read DOG KILL so long ago I don't have any memory of this scene.

Phantom, I'm not surprised at all to learn you have all these! While CUJO has never been one of my favorite King's I did recently reread parts of it, and the long climax is indeed gut-wrenchingly powerful and effective.
