The other day, the 10th, was
John Shirley's birthday, so I was perusing his vintage paperback covers and this one jumped out at me. I haven't read
In Darkness Waiting (Onyx, Apr 1988) and I've come across this cover before, but damn if it didn't strike me this time as a certain female pop singer c. early-mid 1980s. Does anybody else see it, or am I just crazy?
