viktor - Yep, Will is, indeed, a great admirer of the cover of McDowell's classic COLD MOON OVER BABYLON as well. We were just discussing it... somewhere, not long ago. Perhaps FB? I own a copy that's just as beat up & worn as the one on display here in fact. It's next to impossible to find a copy in good shape. So much so that I'd love to see a reissue of it published, so that I could read it again, some 30 years after the first time. I don't dare reread the copy I have though, because it would almost certainly disintegrate upon doing so...
Too Much Horror Fiction collects and reviews vintage horror literature (mostly from the 1960s to the early 1990s) and celebrates its resplendent paperback cover art. Welcome!
With Grady Hendrix, I co-wrote the Stoker Award-winning PAPERBACKS FROM HELL: THE TWISTED HISTORY OF '70s AND '80s HORROR FICTION (2017) from Quirk Books. I also own a couple thousand vintage paperbacks most of which are horror but also SF, crime, & general fiction. Always adding more to the home library!
Looking for a forgotten horror novel or short story? Remember the paperback cover art but not the title or author? Send me an email at toomuchhorrorfiction[at]gmail.com describing it and if I don't know it, one of my readers might!

Used to own that one. Tell me, are you going to read it, as all the books mentioned on this great blog?

It sounds like an interesting series. I will check it out
book publicity
Authorfan, the sad truth is that I will never get to read all the books I feature here! Alas.
Love the CMOB cover
