I've read some of this book. Pretty crazy true-life stories. I think I found it at the same used bookstore that I found the similar Blood Cults, by Charles Lefebure. Gotta love the witchcraft/Satanism boom that happened around 1970... there were crazy books and movies popping up all over the place.
Amen to The Devil's Own. All factual accounts, somewhat tabloid-ized to emphasize their Satanicness (and with lots of exclamation points throughout! to add to the unspeakable horror!), but decent introductions to Mr. Crowley and his peers through history. Thanks for posting.
