Today my latest post in the Summer of Sleaze series is up at Tor.com! This week I write about three novels by Charles L. Grant that feature the classic Universal monsters, all terrorizing Grant's own fictional town, Oxrun Station. Hope you like it!
Wow. I literally thought of these three books two days ago and wondered if you had ever done a write-up on them. I've had them for years and never read any. Great minds...
I recently read these three after seeing them mentioned in one of your other posts(I think it must have been you anyway). I found the first to be the best of the three, and it strikes me that I'll probably not have got the best from them without a re-read, so that's something I'll have to line up sometime soon.
Oh, man! I was looking forward to your review of these. I really dug 'em. Glad to see it finally transpired, at your new Tor gig, no less! Think I'm gonna have to give them a reread soon.
Oh do I own this one. I have yet to read it, though. One I did finished recently is THE NESTLING. I enjoyed it very much. As I thought I would.
